Some comments on this strange passage which I believe to have discovered...

To be honest, I do not know if it is about a real or virtual Passage place, as you can note it on the data-processing document joint. I was at the University of Madrid, in the office of my uncle, person in charge of the Laboratory of Hermeneutic.

In its office, there was quite a lot of computer equipement. One of these computers, a Mac, was equipped with a small camera for the videoconference. I carried out some tests to amuse myself and left it lit. Then, I decided to search if there were new sites concerning the Obscure Cities. In a search engine I cannot remember, I typed the words "Cities" and "Obscure". I had several answers, but the majority covered subjects extremely different from the one I exepected. However, among those, a reference gave the address of your old site and from another which surprised me much more: "http://cités.obscures.ur". I clicked on it. The destination took a little time to answer, I thus went to seek a coffee.

When I returned, to my great astonishment, I noted that several papers trailed to the ground whereas they were well correctly arranged on the desk before my departure. I collected them, always a little surprised. On the computer, the contacted site had ended up answering that the server was occupied. I thus promised to try again later.

As my uncle had just finished his meeting, I started to turn off the computers. Very strangely, the one equipped with the camera asked to me whether I wanted to back up the recorded document. Which document did I ask to myself? I had not created anyone. I checked and saw that the camera had started to record during my absence. I looked at the images which you can see on the diskette joined to this mail. I was flabbergasted... A Passage! A Passage was apparently opened during the few minutes during which I had moved away... I examined the camera; it was intact, although, as seems to show it the last image, it seems to be crossed by the cube which spouted out computer...

I had unfortunately not the occasion to again consult Internet before my return in France. As soon of my arrival in Paris, I precipitated on a computer and retyped the address while remaining fixedly in front of my screen... Nothing occurred, only again the same answer which announced me that the server was occupied and that it was needed to try again later. I tested on many occasions, but I always obtained the same answer. Still stranger, a new search on various search engines allowed me never again to see the link towards the site which I sought...

When I read in "the adventure of the images" that you worked on a new site, I hoped to find this address in your links page, but I did not find it. Then? Could the phenomenon occur only in Spain? Was this the computer of my uncle who had something particular? I never had the occasion to go back to Madrid to check it...

The facts occurred on a August 28, the anniversary date of Benoit and date of catch of sight of a photograph of François in 1987 for the book "Portrait of comics" where besides the decoration shows a small steel construction coming out of a canopy rather similar to the images recorded by chance in Madrid. Would there be a relationship between these dates, I really don't know...
