   Angouleme, already famous for its mysterious mural, was again the theatre of new quite enigmatic events during the year 2002. It is within its theatre that strange completely uncontrolled events appeared suddenly. Some of new modern installations of the theatre, like the canopy of the first floor, seemed to want to take again the texture of the old stones whose the theatre was made. Strange sets of lights seemed to going out of the large room. Some people in the street would have even seen a fault creating from time to time on the frontage of the building.

   The story fell badly for the town of Angouleme which prepared already the festival of comic strip 2003. As these events cannot be maintained under control, there were decided to make up the theatre for the event. The presence of Fran�ois Schuiten as chair festival was from this point of view an opportunity not to miss. Who better than the discoverer of the Cities Obscure could make up a demonstration whose origin could only be obscure. For the occasion, the theatre of Angouleme was renamed the Theatre of the Images.

   As it is often the case, these demonstrations ended, this time after the festivities related to the festival were finished. The theatre, having again its normal aspect remains under high monitoring...
