   The site of Tour and Taxis belongs completely to these places seeming to be under the influence of the Obscure World.

   Set up between 1904 and 1910 on the domain of the family Von Thurm und Tassis, this vast enluminated complex of art nouveau ironwork was drawn by astute visionaries: Van Humbeek, Bossmans and Vandeveld.

   Seeming straight left Xhystos, the site had a destiny worthy of the most famous obscure events. Such Mylos of the Clear World, it was during several decades a kind of window of the economic advancement of Belgium. Then unused, many property developers, such a multitude of Freddy de Vrouw projected thousand and one plans to reassign the buildings. Last project in date, the project of Musical City, "Music City", would compete in audacity and size with the project of festival of organ on the Green Lake.

   So many signs cannot be coincidences. The last of those and undoubtedly most significant is the armillaire sphere which decorates the principal building of the site. If this one symbolizes the universe with the four corners from which arrived thousands of tons of goods, there is strong to bet that many of these goods were  coming from the Obscure Continent...
