Notes: Annecy, very old city, rich of a tumultuous history within Haute-Savoie and fray with that of Geneva formerly was called Anersiacum. Its past, unceasingly impregnated of mysticism and religion, even led it to shelter the antipape Clment VII. It has in his heart a building, "... similar to a galeria whose prow would split of its stem calm water of Thiou... ", whose origin is lost in the mists of time and been rather obscure: the Palace of l'Isle. This building, currently museum, had a very chaotic destiny: sometimes palace, sometimes jail even religious site... It even had, with the statement of some, an underground communicating with the castle of Nemours. Many obscure researchers suspects the existence of a passage towards a city hidden under water of the lake... The investigation remains to be continued... |
